Blog cowards. Blowards?
Why does comment moderation enrage me, and does it anyone else?
The "your comment has been saved and is awaiting approval."
No matter how cool the blog seemed to be, I see that and always picture this fearful, snively little person behind it, demanding an outrageous amount of control, scared invisible people might say mean things (which seldom happens on casual blogs). Why put your thoughts in a public forum at all? Make your blog private then, if other people aren't allowed to talk without your control.
I call it the "No Hurt Fweelings" filter.
Ah I'm bitter.

Enrage. Enrage is a strong word. I would say it disappoints and annoys me.
Some people just turn on comment moderation because they get a lot of spam in their comments. My blog goes through periods of getting spammed.
You are funny! Cute when enraged.
I am from Texas Australia. I am an Australian, have had a few people compare Ozzies to Texans.
I just love to read, the quotes I think mean a hell of a lot more to me than others, :) I get a little deep and profound in my own mind.
You are a dag. (thats a sweetie, with sense of humor).
Ciao mate.
Pam
Comment moderation can be frustrating, but I saw a blog once where every comment said something along the lines of...
"mummumggmmmmummmumm," repeated probably 80-100 times. That was the only time I thought, "hmmm, maybe those should be moderated."
I also hate the word verification, which I did have. So many times I can't even read it and I wonder if I'm a computer.
I'd agree with meno that enrage is slightly strong, but definitely annoy and irritate.
meno-You're problem is you just don't have enough hate in you. You'll never be Lord of the Dark Side and I'll have to fight the Jedi by myself.
beck-don't try to excuse them! They're evil horrid people who are out to get me personally, there is simply no way around it.
sienna- who doesn't love to have their rage called 'cute'?
sass-maybe I just don't have much of a delineation between "irritate" and "rage."
I agree and disagree. Some people's self-esteems can be sensitive. They want the freedom to express themselves, but they don't want negative feedbacks.
Or it could just be to moderate comments that might enrage other readers.
I have to admit, mine is set like that. ONLY because of one person and the fact that I write the blog to express my feeling, just like anyone else and I've only denied a comment twice. I sure hope you're still reading mine, i'll take the block off soon, as soon as the wreched evils find something better to do than try to put weird shit on my blog :) I love your dark humor so i hope you're still reading mine.... :)
I get mad when people cut through my driveway. I can't wait to see what I'll be like when I'm old and grumpy!
don't have enough hate!!??
Ha ha ha ha ha ha hah ahah hha ha ha ha hah.
